I was informed that the German parliament will soon adopt a resolution recognizing the genocides of the peoples of Asia Minor and Mesopotamia, performers of which were the Young Turks and their utmost systematic evolution, the Kemalists.
I wish in this historic decision of all the parliamentary wings to dominate the spirit, ethics, intellectual honesty, the frankness of the President of the German Republic Joachim Gauck. These qualities were discerned by every goodwill human from his historic statements about these Genocides, a year ago in Berlin.
Because, according to the Hellenic tradition, we should praise the honest, the Kalos kagathos, back then I asked, in the forthcoming (2016) events - demonstrations of Memory and Life held each year in cities of Germany and other countries on the occasion of May the 19th, to highlight the following message: JOACKIM GKAOUK CHAIRE (AVE).
So I hope, that in the forthcoming session of the German parliament for the genocides of our peoples, the spirit of the German president will prevail.
The story is the biggest and the final judge. Particularly, the current period is a period of great decisions made by history, that permanently leave their mark on peoples identities.
Personally, I did what I had to do for the people of Asia Minor and Mesopotamia. Especially when the winds were against. The Devils, the Kharons were many, and the symbols of freedom buried. I lifted the symbols of life against the symbols of death.
Even I am moved, my highest levels of humanism are fed when I reread my text - speech at the Berlin University on April 28, 2002, which was much praised from people who are inspired by the same humanistic ideals as we do. It is of those long-lasting texts - Logos - in history. Very useful and timely with regards to the forthcoming decision of the German parliament. We are going through a period of Memory and not of Oblivion, Justice rather than Geopolitical genocifer immorality, Resurrection and not Crucifixion, that needs people, public figures characterized by friendship to the Truth, to the frankness, to Human Life and Dignity, to the History of this long-suffering ancient region.
